FORBIDDEN FRUIT.

Concept:
Fig, burnt honey, and golden citrus entwined with caramel rum — temptation bottled..

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml 69 Rum

  • 20 ml burnt honey syrup (honey warmed until amber; loosen 1:1)

  • 20 ml fig purée (fine-strained)

  • 15 ml fresh lemon juice

  • 1 dash aromatic bitters

  • Garnish: thin fig slice + gold sugar rim (half-rim)

Build:

  1. Half-rim a chilled coupe with gold sugar.

  2. Shake all ingredients with ice; fine strain into the coupe.

  3. Garnish with fig slice.
